Power Predictor at 10 Downing Street |

Our Managing Director, Toby Hammond was recently invited by the Prime Minister Gordon Brown to number 10 Downing Street for a low carbon entrepreneurs reception. He managed to grab a moment of the PM's time to talk about our Power Predictor, which allows users to assess how much wind energy and solar energy they can harness from their site before investing in these renewable technologies. Jimmy's Farm, the free range, rare breeds farm that was the subject of the BBC2 TV programme of the same name, is using the Power Predictor to test out the potential for renewable energy at their Suffolk base. Nathan Dodd, the Estate Manager, tells us that he reckons it's pretty windy at their place just south of Ipswich, but they're unsure where would be the best place to put a wind turbine, and what type they should install. Our Power Predictor is going up on a mast near their vegetable patch, and we look forward to seeing what kind of payback result they get.
