Power Predictor Provides Pinpoint Perfection Environmental enthusiasts Charles Burton and Debbie White are using their Power Predictor in multiple locations to find the most powerful place near their home in west Wales. They initially mounted the Power Predictor half way up a slope on a 17ft homemade mast but are convinced that moving the Predictor to the top of the slope will improve the results of the Power Report, and actually be an easier location to physically install a wind turbine. Charles says “One of the great advantages of the Power Predictor is that it can be moved and used in different locations, allowing the user to find the top spot for their desired renewable technology.”
The couple have been looking to invest in a wind turbine for over a year and are well aware that nearby buildings and trees can cause a lot of turbulent air, which will affect the wind turbine's performance. Charles is pleased that the Power Predictor offers a detailed comparison of the main turbines on the market and believes he can use the information to find out the most suitable technology for his site and personal energy requirements.
