The best invention since sliced bread?

Duncan Glendinning is the owner of The Thoughtful Bread Company, a small ethical bakery in Bath. Keen on doing his bit for the environment, Duncan is looking to invest in renewable technologies in the near future.

"We wondered if turbulence from nearby buildings on our site would affect the viability of a wind turbine, and therefore were delighted to have the Power Predictor to allow us to properly assess the situation before considering investing. So many people base their decision on statistics that are from generalised figures which will vary considerably when applied from one location to another."

The bakery has already invested in a small solar panel which powers the fuel pump used to refuel their biodiesel bakery van. Interested in the economic and environmental benefits that renewable technology could provide, The Thoughtful Bread Company are relieved that they can use the results from their Power Report to "make an informed decision" from data which is specific to their location.
